Do you offer free quotes?
Yes. All quotes are completely free and there’s no obligation whatsoever. Call, text or WhatsApp Rupert on 07966 525128 and we’ll arrange a time to come and take a look at the job.
What areas do you cover?
We’re based in Alvechurch, Worcestershire, and cover Worcestershire, the West Midlands and Warwickshire. That includes Bromsgrove, Redditch, Worcester, Droitwich, Kidderminster, Solihull and the surrounding areas. If you’re not sure whether we can reach you, just give us a call.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry public liability insurance to £10 million on all work — domestic, commercial and agricultural. You’ll be covered whether we’re working in a back garden or on a large commercial site.
How long have you been in business?
Cure Contractors has been providing fencing services for over 27 years, with tree surgery added around 15 years ago. Rupert Cure runs the business himself, which means you deal directly with the person doing the work — not a middleman.
Do you work for commercial clients as well as domestic?
Yes. We work for domestic homeowners, commercial businesses, block management companies, equestrian clients and agricultural landowners. Commercial clients include Cottons Chartered Surveyors, Brighton Willis and Watson Block Management.
How do I get in touch?
The quickest way is to call, text or WhatsApp Rupert directly on 07966 525128. You can also email rupecure@gmail.com or fill in the contact form on our contact page.
Are your tree surgeons qualified?
Yes. All our tree surgeons are NPTC (National Proficiency Tests Council) qualified, and all tree work is carried out to British Standard BS 3998/2010. Climbing equipment is inspected by registered inspectors in line with LANTRA specifications.
What tree surgery services do you offer?
We offer a full range of tree surgery services including crown reductions, crown thinning and lifting, tree removal, pollarding, stump grinding, hedge cutting, site clearance, woodland management, decay detection, and tree surveys and arboricultural impact assessments. We can also advise on Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs) and assist with applications and appeals.
Do you handle emergency tree work?
Yes. We offer 24-hour emergency call-outs for storm damage, fallen trees, or trees posing an immediate risk to property or people. Call Rupert directly on 07966 525128 for urgent situations.
Can you work near power lines?
Yes. We have specialist experience working near power lines and understand the additional safety requirements involved. If your tree is close to overhead cables, get in touch and we’ll assess what can be done safely.
My tree has a Tree Preservation Order on it. Can you still work on it?
Yes. We can advise on TPOs, help prepare applications to the local authority and, where consent is granted, carry out the approved works. Get in touch and we’ll talk through your situation.
Do you remove the waste after tree work?
Yes. Removal of timber and green waste is included as standard — we won’t leave a job with the garden looking like a timber yard. If you’d like to keep logs for firewood, just let us know.
What types of fencing do you install?
We install a wide range of fencing including close board (feather edge), panel fencing, post and rail, picket fencing, sheep and stock netting, deer netting, and security fencing such as palisade, Euro Guard and chainlink. We also specialise in equestrian fencing, paddock enclosures and menage construction.
Do you supply the materials as well as install?
Yes. We supply and install — you don’t need to source materials separately. We use Class A pressure treated timber for all wooden fencing, which is a higher-grade material that lasts significantly longer than standard treated timber.
Do you do equestrian fencing?
Yes. Equestrian fencing is a specialist area for us. We install paddock fencing, horse enclosures, post and rail in all configurations, and can construct menage boundaries. We understand the specific requirements for horse-safe fencing.
Can you handle large-scale agricultural fencing projects?
Yes. We have extensive experience with large agricultural fencing projects, including field division, stock netting and perimeter fencing across significant areas of land. We work with both domestic rural clients and commercial agricultural landowners.
Do you install security fencing?
Yes. We install palisade fencing, Euro Guard (welded mesh), and chainlink fencing for commercial and industrial sites. If you need to secure a perimeter, get in touch and we’ll discuss the right solution for your situation.
What landscaping services do you offer?
We offer a combination of hard and soft landscaping. Hard landscaping includes retaining walls, steps, block paving, walkways and other structural groundwork. We carry a significant amount of landscaping work — it’s a core part of what we do, not an afterthought.
Can you combine landscaping with fencing or tree surgery on the same job?
Yes — and this is one of the advantages of using Cure Contractors. Rather than coordinating multiple trades, you can have the tree surgery, fencing and landscaping all handled by one contractor. That keeps things simpler and usually more cost-effective.
Do you work on domestic gardens as well as larger sites?
Yes. We work on everything from domestic garden landscaping to larger commercial and rural sites. No job is too small — if you’re not sure whether your project is something we’d take on, just give us a call.
