Post & Rail Field Fencing

Straightforward and durable, post and rail is the most widely used fencing for agricultural field boundaries. We install 2-rail, 3-rail and 4-rail configurations depending on the livestock you need to contain. All posts and rails are Class A pressure-treated for a long service life with minimal maintenance. Suitable for cattle, horses, sheep and mixed grazing land.

Stock Netting & Sheep Netting

Where post and rail alone is insufficient to retain smaller or younger animals, stock netting or sheep netting provides an additional secure barrier along the lower section. We fix netting to timber posts or combine it with post and rail as a hybrid installation. Ideal for sheep, young cattle and mixed smallholding use. We also install deer netting for properties bordering woodland or conservation land.

Field Gates & Five-Bar Gates

Agricultural field access requires gates that can handle regular vehicle and machinery movements. We supply and install five-bar gates and heavy-duty field gates in a range of widths, hung on solid timber or concrete posts set to appropriate depth. Suitable for tractor and trailer access, livestock handling and everyday farm use. Matching pedestrian gates also available.

Tractor Post Boring

For large agricultural fencing projects, we use tractor-mounted post hole boring equipment. This allows us to install posts accurately and efficiently across open ground, including in compacted or heavy clay soils that would make hand-digging impractical. The result is consistent post depth and alignment across long fence runs, and a significantly faster installation than manual methods.

Agricultural fencing is not just about the product itself. It is about being able to work efficiently across open land, in variable ground conditions, across long fence runs and to a consistent standard throughout.

We have the plant and equipment for large-scale agricultural fencing projects, including tractor-mounted post borers and the capacity to manage multi-field installations. Whether you need a single field boundary replacing or a full farm perimeter refenced, we can provide a free site visit and written estimate.

We have been installing agricultural fencing across Worcestershire and the surrounding counties for nearly 30 years. We understand working land and we work around farming operations wherever possible.

From Quote to Installation

Agricultural fencing projects vary considerably in scale. We always start with a site visit so we can assess ground conditions, measure the run accurately and recommend the right specification before quoting.

Site Visit

We visit the land, assess ground conditions and discuss the fencing type, post depth and configuration that best suits your livestock and land use requirements.

3

Installation

Posts bored or driven to correct depth, rails or netting fitted tight and true. We work efficiently across the run and leave a clean, well-finished installation.

4
